What to Wear to Class

If your dancer is enrolled in a Twirl & Groove class be sure their tights are "convertible" meaning they can be worn over the foot and then pulled up for the Groove portion of class. 

Everyday undergarments should not be visible under leotard and tights. Instead, choose options that are meant for athletics. Keep in mind many times leotards and tights have the appropriate lining in lieu of an undergarment. 

If your dancer is enrolled in Acro, it's best if they wear a leotard or dance set without tights. Tights can make spotting difficult because they are slippery.

For Hip Hop, choose attire that is loose and easy to move in. Don't be afraid to personalize your style and wear something that will help you feel confident in class! 

Boys should wear a sleeveless or short sleeve shirt that allows for movement. Boys may also want to consider a dance belt under tights, fitted pants, and shorts.
